How the estimate works

We start with a typical checkpoint-clearance baseline, add the current traffic delay near the crossing, and widen the range when congestion or peak-period uncertainty is higher. The result is an indicative planning range, not an official immigration wait time.

• Current versus usual road duration gives the measured traffic-delay signal.
• Recent delay readings determine whether conditions are improving, stable, or worsening.
• LTA camera images are shown as a visual check; they are not converted into minutes.
• Actual queueing and immigration clearance can change independently of road traffic.
