School Reviews

"Ex alumni here from 2022! Personally I think the school itself is very bright and welcoming and the teachers I've had during my time there were all very nurturing and played a role in shaping me into a better person. The facilities are quite up to date and the classroom environments are generally quite lively. I've heard people saying things about the bullying in this school but based on my personal experience I feel that the teachers were quite helpful in these cases and took action quite quickly but I do agree with the fact that the student leaders in recent years are playing a fool from what I heard from my brother who just graduated last year:("

"Currently I am a student here (P6 2025), my class is not the brightest yet not the dimmest they are just playful I assume, the school is amazing-nice teachers and staff, nice and big enough school for everything. I wish they kept the old colour but now it gives a new welcome to 2024-2025 bright and vibrant but the food here is a bit pricey and I would say the place here is very clean but clean is just the toilets that are dirty and has a very weird smell in some toilets. Would I recommend coming here? Yes I would recommend, but there are definitely better schools out there."

"Being a student (P6 in 2025) in this school, there are many good and bad things. First off, the students are not well-behaved. Students are often talking during class although given reminders (This is the worst). Secondly, the cleanliness is at a low standard. After recess, the tables are quite messy. Thirdly, there is a lot of bullying in the school. I have seen the student leader council bullying some students like me, and I do not want this to happen to future students. However, there are some good things about the school. For example, the school looks nice despite its small size. Also, the student leadership is not that good in this school. Some student leaders often play a fool, and are not doing their role properly. Being one of the CCA leaders, I do not really like seeing that. The student leader council is also based on an interview, class behaviour and other criteria. However, the interview is not a good way to find the student leader council as it simply finds who is capable of speaking in front of teachers and vice-principals. This can be shown as my student leader council for P6 is not too good. I am the friends of some of them and they sometimes like to talk mean things about me. I think the thing that saved the experience for me was my 6D Form Teachers. Miss Ong and Mr Jufri are so caring and funny, and I love their teaching styles. I also like my Mother Tongue teacher, Miss Liew, as she is funny and has taught me a lot of valuable life lessons. However, it is a shame that most teachers in the school are not like that. Therefore, I think this school is alright, but there are better schools nearby."

"I went to this school and I absolutely loved it. The teachers were kind and caring AND VERY funny! My favourite teacher is Mr Long since his sense of humour helps to keep the class interested in learning while also letting them have some fun from time to time. The campus of the school is beautiful. It is very easy to learn where all the rooms/staircases are. My classmates were very funny and kind. They took care of me when I was down and they cheer me up everyday. I want to go back in time to P1 just to relive the experience. It is very sad that I have to see some of my very close friends go but at the end of the P6 year the teachers helped us boost our confidence with going to Secondary. Overall this school is amazing, the teachers are great, the pupils are kind and the campus is very easy to recognise. Would definitely recommend going here! Edit 2 : I graduated in 2018 and have now finished my O Levels with great grades, I have no doubt that this is because of the amazing teachers that have helped me through primary school, without them I don't think i would have been able to enjoy learning on my own. This school has helped to mould me to become who I am today. ♥️ (2022)"

"Saw the previous review about Mdm Valli and I have to agree. I find her very rude and harsh. I don't know how she can be a special needs teacher. The child also always complains about the way she treats her. If you can, choose the special needs teacher working with your child carefully. I know there are a few different sped teachers in Springdale."

"HORRIBLE SCHOOL EVER!!! 1. Teachers Very unprofessional and unfriendly. Always a howing black face. There is a teacher’s car (red, Hyundai) always drop off a teacher before the drop off point without turning on the signal and suddenly stopped. Beware of this car! Almost knock on this car many times. Stop like her Ah gong’s road! Very inconsiderate action. Showing a very bad example to kids. 2. Security guards The Chinese guard is damn rude and acting like a gangster! Very very unfriendly. Saw many occasions he scolded and shouted at the students very loudly. Acted like a true gangster with tattoos! Today at 7.32am, bumped into a Malay lady security guard, spoiled my morning mood, shouted at my kid very loudly when we were standing at the corner and no intention to cross the road. She was the one playing with her hand phone and didn’t notice us. Scolded us and was starring at us with very fierce face and my kid was frighten by her action. I wonder what is the criteria to be a security guards in this school? Is it a must to be an unfriendly, unprofessional, like to shout loudly to kids and scold students/ parents when their mood is not good? I had a very bad experience with this school and going to apply for transfer to another school by next year. Horrible school ever!!!!!!"

"lovely school but preferred the old staff :) I think the teachers are abit too friendly and let their students off too much. If the counsellor is still there i really hope you improve because you haven't helped a single student properly. Dismissing and invalidating the student is wrong just because the person hurting them is you favourite.Would never trust a counselor again"
